Booking & Payment

How do I book a session?
A signed contract and non-refundable retainer are required to secure your date. Dates are not held without both.

When is my remaining balance due?
The remaining balance is due 24 hours before your scheduled session unless otherwise agreed in writing.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Accepted payment methods will be outlined in your invoice. Payment plans may be available upon request.

When will I receive my photos?
Standard turnaround time is 2–3 weeks unless otherwise stated. Rush edits may be available for an additional fee. Turnaround time begins once your full balance is paid.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

What is your rescheduling policy?

One reschedule is allowed with at least 48 hours notice. Rescheduled sessions must take place within 30 days of the original session date.
If proper notice is not given, a new retainer may be required.

What is your cancellation policy?

Retainers are non-refundable. If you cancel your session, your retainer will not be returned. In the event of an emergency, please contact me as soon as possible and we will discuss available options.

What happens if I’m late?

Please arrive on time. A 10-minute grace period is allowed. After 10 minutes, your session time may be shortened. After 20 minutes without communication, your session may be canceled and considered a no-call/no-show.

No-Call / No-Show Policy

If you do not arrive and do not communicate within 20 minutes of your scheduled start time, your session will be marked as a no-call/no-show. Your retainer will be forfeited. A new retainer and possibly a new contract will be required to rebook.

Weather Policy (Outdoor Sessions)

If your session is scheduled outdoors and weather conditions are unsafe or unsuitable (heavy rain, lightning, extreme wind, etc.), the session will be rescheduled at no additional charge. Cloudy skies are not considered bad weather and may still produce beautiful results. Final weather-related decisions will be made by the photographer.

Editing & Creative Control

Do you provide RAW/unedited images?
No. Unedited images are not delivered under any circumstances.

Can I request specific edits?
Basic retouching and color correction are included. Extensive retouching may incur an additional fee.

Creative Control Clause
By booking, you acknowledge that Jayd Tandy Photography retains full creative control over posing, styling guidance, lighting, editing style, and final image selection. Images are delivered in a style consistent with the photographer’s portfolio. Editing styles will not be altered to match other photographers’ work.

Pricing
All prices are subject to change at any time without notice. The rate at the time of booking (with signed contract and retainer paid) will be honored.

Studio Damage Policy
Clients are responsible for any damage caused to studio property, equipment, props, or furniture during their session.
Any repair or replacement costs will be invoiced to the client. Children must be supervised at all times.

Session Preperation
Please come camera-ready unless hair/makeup services have been booked. Outfit changes must fit within your session time.

Jayd Tandy Photography reserves the right to refuse service for inappropriate behavior or unsafe conditions.
